Recently, I’ve noticed a distinct shift in the demographic makeup of the neighborhood I've lived in for the past 22 years. When I moved in, I had very young children and needed more space, security, and options for them (and me) to make friends and connect with the community. So, my husband and I invested money and sweat into our new home and neighborhood.
